On July 12, 2023, the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (“ACEN”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. Evidently, ACEN learned that its managed file transfer server was compromised, resulting in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, including their names and Social Security numbers….
