Tecta America Sends Out Data Breach Letters Following Recent Cyber Incident

On January 2, 2025, Tecta America Corp. (“Tecta”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of California after discovering that certain files on the company’s network were subject to unauthorized access. In this notice, Tecta explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and financial account information….
