On October 31, 2023, Postmeds, Inc. d/b/a TruePill (“TruePill”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Texas after discovering that an unauthorized user gained access to files stored on the company’s network that contained sensitive patient information. In this notice, TruePill explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names, medication types, and demographic information….
