Infosys McCamish Confirms Farmers Insurance Customers Were Affected by October 2023 Data Breach

On November 15, 2024, Infosys McCamish Systems, LLC (“IMS”) filed a notice with the Attorney General of Maine after discovering that a 2023 data breach at the company impacted the information that had been provided to IMS by Farmers New World Life Insurance Company (“Farmers Insurance”). In this notice, IMS explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access sensitive information belonging to some Farmers Insurance life insurance and annuity customers….
