Hillcrest Convalescent Center Experiences Data Breach Affecting 106,194 Consumers

On March 3, 2025, Hillcrest Convalescent Center (“Hillcrest”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Maine after discovering that an unauthorized party was able to access parts of its computer network. In this notice, Hillcrest explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical information, and health insurance information….
