Fitzgerald, DePietro & Wojnas Issues Data Breach Letters Following June 2024 Cyberattack

On September 26, 2024, Fitzgerald, DePietro & Wojnas CPAs, P.C. (“FDW”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Montana after discovering that the company’s IT network was subject to unauthorized access. In this notice, FDW explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names, dates of birth, marital status, Social Security numbers, addresses, telephone numbers, and financial information….
