It is not easy to come up with innovative and delicious food constantly at vegetarian casual dining places. Bombay Hospitality’s new multi-cuisine restaurant venture ‘Vedge aims to break the age old ‘boring’ myth associated with vegetarian cuisine. It is a multi-cuisine joint offering Indian, Continental, Mexican, Italian and Pan-Asian cuisine. The stylish and modern restaurant has vegetarian and vegan food influenced by cuisines across the globe. This casual dining restaurant aims to give pure veg cuisine its due credit by creating a classy, trendy and young restaurant space that endeavors to reinvent the current perception of vegetarian dining in Mumbai.
The signature dishes include Malaysian Laksa Lemak, Fully Loaded Nachos, Chaat Platter, Pani Puri Shots, Bruschetta Five Ways, Chili Bean Tacos, Subzi Galouti Kebab, Dimsums, Signature Vedge Biryani, Vedge Burmese Khowsuey, Stir Fry Vegetables in Black Pepper Sauce, Red Thai Curry, Passion Fruit Cheesecake and Chocolate Mud Pile. Verge’s head Chef, Aditya Sawant, 25, is a graduate from the International School - Les Roches. He has an Associate Degree in F&B Management, Diploma in Hotel Management and a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration with a major focus on Project Management and Hotel Design. He loves food and brings this love for food, spirit of entrepreneurship, experiences in operations along with culinary skills at the Vedge.
