Ben’s is an eatery located on the sixth floor of the Pavilion mall in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. It evokes the warmth of a familial home. The space is bright and airy, some verdant and green, with whitewashed wooden flooring, high ceilings and contemporary vintage furnishing. Walls are adorned with charming portraiture capturing special moments within the family. The menu is a mix of western pastas, sandwiches and burgers, and a few Asian options. Start off with chunky mushroom soup with truffle oil and garlic toast. The highlight is the simple but spicy aglio olio spaghetti with prawns and squid: the plate is heaped with spaghetti noodles tossed in flavoured oils and garnished with wilted spinach. The crispy duck-confit on a bed of spaghetti is also a crowd pleaser. The place is also loved by sandwich and burger lovers as well as dessert lovers.
