On January 28, 2025, Cardiology of Virginia, Inc. (“Cardiology of Virginia”) filed a notice of data breach with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights after discovering that an unauthorized party was able to access information that had been provided to the practice.
