On July 25, 2023, Aurora National Life Assurance Company filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Texas after discovering that an incident at a third-party vendor resulted in confidential consumer information being exposed to unauthorized access. In this notice, Aurora explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names and Social Security numbers….
