Amtrak Confirms Data Breach Affecting Guest Rewards Accounts

On June 14, 2024, the National Railroad Passenger Corporation d/b/a Amtrak (“Amtrak”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Massachusetts after discovering that an unauthorized user may have used customers’ login credentials to access their Amtrak Guest Rewards accounts.
