On May 23, 2024, Ally Bank filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Massachusetts after discovering that portions of its computer system were accessed by an unauthorized party. In this notice, Ally Bank explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and auto account numbers….
