On January 28, 2025, Albany Gastroenterology Associates (“Albany Gastro”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Vermont after discovering that certain files on the practice’s computer network were accessed without authorization by an unknown party. In this notice, Albany Gastro explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names and Social Security numbers….
